10 Dos and Don’ts
- DO: Relax like a movie star.
Slip into a cozy bathrobe, order some tea or rosé, and enjoy the peaceful courtyard at La Jabotte.
DON’T: Act like a rockstar.
Belting out “We Will Rock You” at 2 AM might not make you popular with your neighbors. They’ll thank you for keeping the peace. And, believe us, we have welcomed some real Rock-Stars, and you would be surprised to know that they are the most calm, short and discreet customers.
DO: Taste the local products.
Savor our tapenade with a glass of Provençal wine, all while soaking up the warm ambiance.
DON’T: Test your cooking skills in the room.
La Jabotte is charming, but it’s not ready to survive a bouillabaisse attempt on a camping stove.
- DO: Take Instagram-worthy selfies.
Capture your best angles in the flower-filled courtyard, by the pool, or on the beach in Antibes.
DON’T: Forget to respect others’ privacy.
Not everyone wants to be a blurry background feature in your “spontaneous” photo.
- DO: Enjoy the comfortable beds.
Relax, read a good book, and let sleep carry you away.
DON’T: Test the mattress’s durability.
There’s no need for Olympic trampoline tryouts—our beds are comfy, but they’re not built for bouncing.
- DO: Chat with the La Jabotte team.
We love sharing tips on the best spots in Antibes.
DON’T: Play detective.
“How long have you worked here? Who is the owner? Who’s the funniest guest you’ve had?” Let’s keep a little mystery alive!
- DO: Respect the calm atmosphere.
Take advantage of the peace and charm of the hotel.
DON’T: Host an impromptu party.
A wild karaoke session featuring “La Macarena”? Tempting, but not here (even without Macarena…).
- DO: Share your experience.
Leave a review about your stay or share your memories with friends.
DON’T: Resolve minor issues online.
If something isn’t right, tell us in person. We’ll do everything we can to make things perfect and avoid an emotional 3 AM post on TripAdvisor or Google.
- DO: Say “Hello” with a smile.
La Jabotte is a warm and welcoming place, and it all starts with a friendly greeting.
DON’T: Ask for the Wi-Fi before saying “Hello.”
We love the digital age, but politeness goes a long way.
- DO: Talk to the cats.
Our adorable feline friends love attention, and they’re key to a successful stay.
DON’T: Ignore them.
A glance or a little scratch behind the ears, and they’ll make you their new best friend!
- DO: Appreciate France.
Let yourself be surprised by French savoir-faire, whether it’s our buttery croissants, our hospitality (always with a touch of character), or our picturesque landscapes.
DON’T: Say, “That’s not how we do it back home.”
We love cultural diversity, but let’s be honest: here in France, we do things our way… and it’s better that way, isn’t it? Otherwise, why travelling? 😉
